fa از غرب تا ایران؛ رویکردی تاریخی تطبیقی به رمان پاورقی در غرب و ایران ادبیات داستانی ادبیات داستانی پژوهشي Research <span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="direction:rtl"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span b="" lotus="" style="font-family:">رمان پاورقی نخست در سدۀ نوزدهم میلادی در مطبوعات فرانسه ظهور کرد و سپس در کشورهای دیگر نیز رواج یافت. به نظر می‌رسد رواج این نوع رمان در کشورهای اروپایی و همچنین در ایالات متحده در شرایط کم‌وبیش یکسانی روی داده باشد. اما با توجه به تفاوت‌های گوناگون جامعۀ ایرانی با این جوامع، بررسی تطبیقی پیدایش این نوع رمان در زمینه‌ای تاریخی در ایران، که کشوری حاشیه‌ای در جهان رمان به شمار می‌آید، دارای اهمیت است. در این مقاله، نخست تصویری فشرده از وضعیت رمان پاورقی در کشورهای غربی (شامل فرانسه، انگلستان، روسیه، و ایالات متحده) ارائه و سپس در پژوهشی آرشیوبنیاد، با مراجعه به روزنامه‌های ایران (سری جدید)، کوشش، شفق سرخ، اقدام، ستارۀ ایران و ستارۀ جهان (از آذر 1300 تا خرداد 1320)، همۀ رمان‌های منتشر شده در این روزنامه‌ها به تفکیکِ تألیف، ترجمه و نوع استخراج شد. افزون بر مشاهدۀ چند تفاوت عمده میان وضعیت رمان پاورقی در ایران و در غرب، مشخص شد که اکثریت نزدیک به اتفاق رمان‌های ترجمه‌ای در دورۀ مورد نظر ما در ایران از زبان فرانسه ترجمه شده‌اند که چنین یافته‌ای تأثیرات نیرومند ترجمۀ رمان پاورقی فرانسه بر پیدایش و رواج رمان پاورقی فارسی را نشان می‌دهد که چنین یافته‌ای تأثیرات نیرومند ترجمۀ رمان پاورقی فرانسه بر پیدایش و رواج رمان پاورقی فارسی را نشان می‌دهد.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br> &nbsp; <span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The serial novel first emerged in the 19th century within the press of France and subsequently gained popularity in other countries. It appears that the rise of this genre in European countries as well as in the United States occurred under relatively similar conditions. However, considering the various differences between Iranian society and these communities, a comparative examination of the emergence of this genre in a historical context in Iran&mdash;a country often regarded as peripheral in the world of the novel&mdash;holds significant importance. This article first presents a concise overview of the state of serial novels in Western countries (including France, England, Russia, and the United States). Following this, through an archive-based study, we analyze the newspapers of Irān (Siri Jadid), Kooshesh, Shafaq-e Surkh, Eqdam, Setāreh-ye Irān , and Setāreh-ye Jahan (from Azar 1300 to Khordad 1320), categorizing all published novels by authorship, translation, and type. In addition to observing several key differences between the status of serial novels in Iran and the West, it was found that nearly all translated novels during our specified period in Iran were translated from French.
